Jayant's review on Ford Aspire 1.5 TDCi Titanium
Year of Manufacture : 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 4000
- Pros: Excellent mileage. Got around 24 on highway with speeds of 80-90. Good comfort. Excellent engine. Good boot space. Nice audio system for the price.
- Cons: Headlights are of less power, had to change the bulbs to Philips. Small dials. Wheels should have been of 15 inches atleast. Nvh levels are a bit high can hear people talking outside even when all the windows and doors are closed. No parking sensor or camera even on top end.
I mostly drive on highways. Gurgaon to Ambala, a 250km sprint, every weekend. Aspire is very punchy when it comes to highway performance. I can easily overtake any maruti, Hyundai etc. Last I calculated I got an excellent mileage of 24 on highway at an average speed between 80-90 kmph. Driving above 100 can be a bit noisy though the engine is not strained but nvh levels are a bit low. RPMS are around 2200 at 100 kmph. Probably a 6th gear would have helped to cruise. Lots of space to keep bottles, glasses, and essentials for highway trips. Headlights are bit of a problem but all over a good package for money.
