Ford Figo Facelift Preview

Ford India has a great brand value in the Indian car market for its cars with classy exteriors, premium-quality interior fit and finish, and high reliability in performance. The Figo Cross Facelift would be upgraded with the introduction of a new and stylish front grille, and new contours on the bonnet, fender and door panels. The interiors will have new trims and upholstery, features of bottle holders and cup holders at key locations, and the new infotainment system with touchscreen display. The advanced technology features of dual airbags, side and curtain airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program, traction control system and hill assist system would be offered in top variants.

Ford Figo Facelift Exterior

The Ford Figo Cross exteriors will have a new front bumper, new design bonnet and new front grille with chrome finishing, giving it a refreshing on-road image. The new projector headlamps with daytime running lights can be expected in the top models. The dual-tone painting with various colour combinations would be offered for this model. The new black alloy wheels, new tail lamps, roof-mounted stop lamps and new design tailgate would get a distinctive stance for the facelift version.

Ford Figo Facelift Interior

The Ford Figo Cross Facelift interiors will feature a new instrument cluster with multi-information display, including gear shift indicator and average fuel consumption. The interior trims would be offered with single-tone and dual-tone finishing options, and new pattern fabric upholstery. The driver seat will have height adjustment feature. The comfort features of auto AC, and the entertainment features of music system with touchscreen display and steering-mounted audio controls would be offered in this model.

Ford Figo Facelift Engine & Transmission

The Ford Figo Cross Facelift 2018 specifications will be available with three engine options: a 1498 cc 4-cylinder diesel engine with a power output 100 PS at 3750 rpm and torque of 215 Nm at 1750-3000 rpm; a 1499 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 111 PS at 6300 rpm and torque of 136 Nm at 4250 rpm; and an 1196 cc 4-cylinder petrol engine with a power output of 88 PS at 6300 rpm and torque of 112 Nm at 4000 rpm. The transmission system features a 5-speed manual gearbox with drive connected to the front wheels.

Ford Figo Facelift Mileage

The Ford Figo Cross Facelift mileage would range at 25 kmpl from the 1.5l TDCi diesel engine, 17 kmpl from the 1.5l Ti-VCT petrol engine and 18 kmpl from the 1.2l Ti-VCT petrol engine. The actual mileage figures can vary depending upon final configuration and overall weight of the facelift version.

Ford Figo Facelift Braking and Safety

The Ford Figo Facelift braking system will have ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear, and the ABS with EBD would be offered in the top variants. The safety features of an airbag for the driver and co-passenger would be offered as a standard, and the side and curtain airbags would be offered in the top variants. The park assistance with sensors, and camera with audio and video display can be expected in the facelift version.

Ford Figo Facelift Performance and Handling

The Ford Figo Facelift performance would be improved with the refinement in engine and transmission system, delivering smoother transmission of power to the road wheels. The introduction of aerodynamic contours on the body panels would further improve the top speed performance and improve the fuel economy with reduced air resistance. The suspension system will have independent McPherson struts with coil springs at the front, and semi-independent twist beam with twin gas and oil filed shock absorbers would be continued from the existing version.
