Ford Figo carries a 1.2-litre Duratec engine which can produce a peak power of 70.03bhp at 6250rpm and a maximum torque of 102Nm at 4000rpm. The engine is tuned for a better mileage, manages to return 12.3kmpl in city and 15.6kmpl on highways.

All though car not only starts quickly but also stops quickly to because this hatchback is blessed with good refined braking system. Overall this car comes out to be perfect combo or performance and power.
Ford Figo is a very successful model of this company with many awards in its name due to its engine performance, handling, looks and design. Ford figo features 1.2 ltr duratec engine which produces 70bhp at 6250 rpm in its petrol variant whereas diesel variant comes with 1.4Ltr duratorq engine capable of producing a maximum of 68bhp at 4000 rpm. It is equipped with a robust and efficient suspension system supported with balanced handling, proving the car a perfect urban hatchback. Its sporty and refreshed exterior looks makes it more desirable.
Ford Figo comes in petrol and diesel variants with for different models under each of the category. Now, there are certain specifications regarding the torque, engine description, power, acceleration and top speed of each of the models that determine its on road model. However, the specifications connected to its performance that are more or less common for all its petrol variants include 1196 cc engine displacement, 1196 fuel system, maximum power of 71 PS, 52.4 KW @ 6,25 RPM and maximum torque of 102 Nm @ 4,000 RPM. The front suspensions are Independent McPherson strut with dual path mounts, and the rear suspensions are Semi-Independent twist beam, Coil springs. Ford Figo further comprises of Ventilated Disc front brake and Drum rear brake. The basic specifications of the diesel versions include 1399 cc engine, 8V SOHC valves, Common Rail fuel system, maximum power of 69 PS, 50.7 KW @ 4,000 RPM and maximum torque of 160 Nm @ 2,000 RPM. The front suspension of the diesel versions of Ford Figo are of Independent McPherson strut variety with dual path mounts, while the rear suspensions are of Semi-Independent twist beam variety Coil springs. Alike the petrol versions, the diesel variants of Ford Figo also come with Ventilated Disc and Drum brakes at the front and rear respectively. All these combinations in each of the variants make Ford Figo a high performance car.
Well, for me looks and performance go hand in hand. Car should deliver good performance as well apart from the beautiful look. Now, I own this Ford Figo and I am in love with this car and thoroughly enjoying it. It offers excellent average of 20kmpl that would surely attract many other buyers. I think overall performance and dimension of this car is far better than other cars of the same segment.
I believe on performance as when we are spending that amount of money to buy a car then its natural, we will expect everything from the car. If it is not look good at the performance then why would any buyer attract to buy that car? So for me car should also offer good average and I am happy with this Ford car as it fulfils my hunger of a pocket friendly car.
If I say, this Ford car is a perfect blend of beauty and performance then I don’t think anyone would deny this fact. Yes, I agree with all the people who believe that it is a beautiful car that deliver excellent performance with great mileage. As I have experienced, it delivers me 20kmpl mileage which I think good enough. Its small size is a big plus for the crowded and traffic areas.
