The diesel variant have 1399cc engine which is 203cc more than petrol variant((P)1196).

Ford has provided two engine options in their flagship hatch FIGO - diesel and petrol. The diesel variant is powered by a 1.4 Ltr., 8 V, DOHC Common rail direct injection duratorq engine which generates maximum power of 68 bhp @ 3000 RPM and maximum torque of 160 Nm @ 2000 RPM, Whereas the petrol variants are powered by 1.2 Ltr. dueatec, 16V,DOHC , SEFI engine which generates maximum power of 70 bhp @ 6250 RPM and maximum torque of 102 Nm @ 4000 RPM.
