Out of the petrol and diesel Ford Figo, which one is a better pick on the whole and also when evaluated in terms of maintenance cost as well as running costs?

There are many things that determine which fuel option is better for one. Though diesel vehicles are more expensive but if you have a long running every day, they turn out to be a better bet for you. If you’re not doing too much up and down in your car then petrol works better. Secondly, maintenance of a diesel car would be slightly more than petrol but nowadays this difference has become very minute therefore, this shouldn’t be a deciding factor. Same stands true for a Ford Figo as well.
Now, coming to the cost of running, Ford Figo diesel gives you a mileage of around 20kmpl in an everyday situation whereas the petrol variant gives you about 15-16kmpl. Finally, the cost of maintenance; these costs for a Ford car are anyway on the higher side as compared to other cars in the segment. Diesel variant would require a slightly more servicing but in general Ford Figo is not easy to maintain when it comes to the economics.
