I want to buy the new Ford Figo but am concerned about its maintenance costs. Can you expand on how much the yearly maintenance costs for the car should be?

The maintenance cost for Ford Figo petrol and diesel variant differ. While, the first service for both variants is free, from the second service onwards, the company charges approximately, Rs. 1,700 for servicing a diesel variant of Figo and Rs. 1,200 for petrol Figo. These costs are approximate figures and the actual cost might vary but they will most certainly be around these figures.
In the long terms, maintenance of diesel variant of Figo will cost you about Rs. 25,000 whereas petrol variant should cost you Rs. 19,000 in 6 years. First service is done after three months of purchase or 2,500kms, whichever comes first and the second service is done after a year of purchase or after 10,000kms, whichever comes first. Servicing of a Figo is done in a gap of an year or at every 10,000kms, whichever comes first.

I am looking at buying a petrol hatchback as my running is around 500kms monthly. Which car suits me best in Delhi between Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Swift and Ford Figo? I like the Figo, the best but I’ve heard complaints regarding its poor mileage.
