Which car should I choose between Ford Figo Titanium Sports Edition and Hyundai Elite i20 Sportz?

Design and styling is subjective so let’s not comment on it. Dimensionally, Elite i20 is marginally lengthier and wider than Figo Titanium. The Figo Titanium comes with 15 inch wheels while the Elite i20 comes with 14 inchers.
Both cars are powered by 1.2 liter petrol engine and develop almost same power & torque outputs and even certified mileage figures of both cars are almost same. Engines of both cars are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and get smooth shifting gearboxes.
Both the cars comes with nice looking interiors but the quality of interiors in i20 Sportz feels a bit better. Suspension of Elite i20 is softer than Figo Titanium which offers more comfortable ride in city driving conditions while Figo’s suspension offers better stability on highway.
Let’s come on features, on the safety front, both cars comes with 2 airbags and ABS but Figo Titanium also offers EBS which has missed out on i20 Sportz. Steering adjustment in Figo Titanium is only tilt while in i20 Sportz it is both tilt and telescopic. Elite i20 Sportz comes with rear parking sensors and reverse camera while Figo Titanium doesn’t have these features. Apart from that, the list of features of both cars is almost identical.
Talking about the after sales, Hyundai is known for low maintenance cost, but Ford India has also done really well in keeping costs under control of scheduled maintenance.
When cars are so similar, it’s finally the feel-good factor that makes the difference. I would suggest you to take test drive of both the cars and whichever you feel comfortable to drive go for that. Though you can’t go wrong with either of the cars.
