Which car should I choose between Ford Figo Titanium and Swift VXi (O)?

I can't really tell you which one you should consider better looking, as that's subjective. Both the cars have a different styling approach but still both of them are very good looking in their own way.

Dimensionally Figo is marginally lengthier than Swift while both cars have same width. The wheelbase of the Figo is longer by 60 mm, which translates to more rear leg space inside the cabin. Figo also offers more trunk space as it comes with 257 litres of boot space while the Swift has 205 litres of boot capacity. Also the build quality of Figo is a bit better than Swift.

The difference between performance of these two cars is not much vast. Both cars are powered by 1.2 liter engines which develops almost same power & torque figures Ford’s engine is tuned to marginally better power while Swift engine is tuned to marginally better torque. The ARAI claimed mileage of Figo Titanium 1.2 is 18.16 kmpl while of Swift VXi is 20.4 kmpl.

When you take the features on offer, the Figo Titanium has a distinct edge. On the safety front it offers 6 airbags, ABS and EBD. Other extra features offered by Figo Titanium are automatic climate control, height adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, rear wiper, follow me headlamps, steering mounted controls, alloy wheels etc. But Figo Titanium is also more expensive than Swift VXi.

Talking about after sales, Ford still has a long way to go to catch up to Maruti-Suzuki in terms service support and affordability in our country, but Ford has also ramped up its sales and service network over the years now hence its after sales is much better than before.

Finally - overall as a package both cars are good and it depends on your personal needs which you choose. I advise you to take a test drive of both cars and go for whichever your heart wants. Though you wouldn't regret buying anyone of them
