Hello Sanjeev Mahajan !!

Honda Amaze has higher capacity engine in both petrol and diesel versions. Further the styling of Honda Amaze is much better as compared to that of Swift Dzire. Swift Dzire does have very good service network and also has best of resale value. Considering overall parameters including pleasure of owning a stylish sedan, Honda Amaze would be better option.

Honda Amaze and Swift Desire both are famous and competitive sedans in the sub-four meter segment. Both offer the choices of petrol and diesel engines to customers. Both have almost similar exterior dimensions and same inner space. The Amaze diesel is powered by a 1.5 Ltr. engine generating 100PS@3600rpm and 200Nm of torque@1750rpm and swift desire diesel is powered by a 1.3 Ltr. diesel engine which generates 74 bhp@4000 RM and 190 NM of torque @ 2000 RPM. So, the amaze is better placed than Dzire in engine arena for sure. Further, while Amaze has ABS and EBD as standard across all trims in diesel option, Dzire lacks the same in the lower rung.

The competing sedans, Swift Dzire and Honda Amaze provide for an interesting read. Although Suzuki Dzire is backed by a better service network all around the country in addition to a better resale value, Honda Amaze provides better aesthetics as far as looks are concerned and a more powerful drive train. The diesel engine of Amaze is a 1.5 litre affair that delivers 100PS at 3600rpm of maximum power and 200Nm of torque against Dzire’s 1.3 litre engine that delivers 74bhp at 4000rpm and 190Nm of power and torque.

Honda cars are reliable . The Honda amaze has a 1.2 litre petrol engine from the Brio . Which feels to be a good one . It also offers a good mileage ! It also has a powerful 1.5 litre diesel engine , Which is ranked first in fuel efficiency . It is also spacious than the swift desire . The swift Dzire's rear seat is not spacious and don't offer a good legroom .The interiors of the amaze are very well crafted than the swift Dzire . The new amaze add's a new navigation system , which swift Dzire lacks . The amaze also has a good rank in it's class !

Both Honda Amaze and Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire are well respect by the connoisseurs as they have quite a few similarities in terms of dimensions, fuel options (both available in petrol and diesel) and drive dynamics. But it is in the engine segment, where Amaze steals a march over Dzire – for Honda Amaze’s 1.5 litre diesel powertrain churns out 200Nm of torque and 100PS of power compared to 190Nm of torque and 74bhp of power by the 1.3 litres engine of Dzire.

Honda Amaze is certainly placed better than its foremost competitor, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire. The difference lies in the powerful engine (both petrol and diesel) of Amaze compared to that of Dzire. Moreover, Amaze possesses anti lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution functions in all its trims – in sharp contrast to their absence in the lower trims of Dzire. Also, the looks of Amaze are better than that of Dzire. The only segment where Dzire scores a march over Amaze is in its better service network and better prices for the second hand ones.

The Honda Amaze is a new end car whereas Swift is an older model. The Honda Amaze has better engine capacities when compared to the swift for both the cases of petrol and diesel i.e., the Amaze is powered by 1.5 liters engine generating 100PS@3600 rpm and 200NM of torque @1750 rpm whereas the Desire’s 1.3 liters engine operates with 74bhp@ 4000rpm and 190NM of torque @2000 rpm. The amaze is getting a better sale and choice of people although Desire is backed with better service network all around the country in addition to its better resale value.
