In a month you cover around 1500kms which is a figure that gives you freedom to choose between diesel or petrol engine as per your preference. Usually when it is less than 1500kms, a petrol vehicle is recommended and if it is more, then a diesel engine is considered. So, you can choose either basis your preference. In my opinion, Honda BRV petrol is a good option for you especially if we consider the difference of around Rs. 1 lakh between the cost of petrol and diesel variants.
Now coming to the comparison between V and S variants of BRV; Honda BRV V is more expensive than Honda BRV S as it has push start stop button, tweeters fitted with the music system, electrically foldable ORVM's, second row centre armrest, auto door lock by speed, sporty 3D speedometer with multi information screen, instantaneous fuel consumption display, cruising range display, outside temperature display, front fog lamps, security alarm, impact sensing auto door unlock etc. With these, the price of Honda BRV V petrol costs you Rs. 10.9 lakhs while Honda BRV S costs you around Rs. 9.9lakhs, ex-showroom New Delhi. In terms of engine and technical specifications, both the variants are the same. So you need to take a call basis the list of features that are offered. I would suggest that it's just a matter of Rs. 1 lakh and in that amount you get so many extra features; so if you can then go in for the Honda BRV V instead of Honda BRV S.
