The Honda Brio gets the same 1.2 litre i-vtec petrol motor as the Honda Jazz, but a slightly detuned for for better fuel efficiency. This detuning makes it not only fuel efficient but a delight for enthusiasts too. Mated with a 5 speed gearbox which comes with Manual and automatic options, this car glides fine on urban as well as city traffic.

Honda Brio is equipped with 1.2 liter petrol engine with four cylinders and sixteen valves. It can produce a maximum power of 88Ps at 6000 rpm with a torque output of 109Nm at 4500 rpm. It is incorporated with a fuel injection supply system which enables it to give decent mileage. The ARAI claimed the fuel economy of 18.4 kmpl for the manual variant and the automatic variant gives out the mileage of approx. 16.5kmpl. The top speed and acceleration is also good when compared to other cars in its segment.
Undoubtedly, the Honda Brio is excellent in its class if you speak about its performance level. For travelling in cities, it is a complete car.
