How much mileage does Honda city automatic give in city
By: Vivek Sharma on 22 january 2015
With Honda City petrol claimed mileage of 17.4kmpl. There is no much difference in mileage figures between manual transmission and automatic transmission versions of Honda City. In practice you can rely upon mileage of around 14 kmpl in city and it can extend upto 16 to 17kmpl when driven on smooth roads like national highway and state highways.

The mileage of the new Honda City automatic is quite decent. Although Honda claims an average of 25kmpl I get 22-23 on highways and 19-20kmpl on city roads which is quite reasonable atleast according to me. The mileage of the car also depends on the way one maintains the car too.
It is a common notion among the masses of today's generation that an expensive car does not provide a decent fuel economy to it's users. Fortunately, the Honda City begs to differ. There is no such difference between manual transmission and automatic transmission for the Honda City model when it comes to fuel efficiency. It is understandable that the mileage of this car depends upon the way the user maintains it. While driving on busy city roads, the average mileage of this car is 20kmpl. On the other hand, the Honda City has an approximate highway mileage of around 25kmpl.
