Hello Elango !!

The New Honda City has ground clearance of 165mm. Its a moderate ground clearance with which one can easily drive in all normal roads and normal road humps. The road conditions can never be the same in all situations and hence a careful driving would help in this regard. In fact most of the standard hatchbacks and sedans have ground clearance of 165mm.

In India most of the buyers have a mindset that cars like Honda City or car belongs to sedan section have low ground clearance which means whenever you hit the bumpy road which is common in India your car will face some damage. Let me tell you one thing that Honda City comes with 165 mm of ground clearance which is not good but moderate ground clearance which is enough to move on bumpy roads if driver apply brakes properly.

Like normal sedans, Honda City is bestowed with a standard ground clearance of 165mm. This is sufficient for the sedan to travel within the city and on the highways with relative ease. It might, however, prove to be a challenge when it travels to rugged terrain like hills or the countryside, where there are craters, humps and potholes galore. But overall, this ground clearance is more than sufficient for the car to travel unhindered over city roads. The only consideration to be followed is to slow down a bit when some bump is encountered.

The car has got an amazing body balances overall.165 mm of ground clearance is not at all a bad figure. This is suggestie of the fact that one can drive City all long normal roads of country with foolproof ease. The normal size road blocks can be easily passed though it. But always a careful drive is recommended beacuse you never know wwhat size of road bumps you can see.
