Honda Clarity Fuel Cell Overview

Honda displayed its electric vehicle concepts at the 14th Auto Expo, early in February 2018, includingthe most advanced Zero Emission vehicle, Honda Clarity Fuel Cell. The displayed EV features a smaller fuel cell stack as opposed to its preceding model FCX Clarity. This hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell stack produces electricity, whereas the Fuel Cell Voltage Converter Unit converts it and stores it in a lithium-ion battery pack. The drive motor generates a maximum power of 130kW along with 300Nm of top torque, which enables providing more power to the driver when required. Underpinning the high-strength bespoke chassis, the FCV sports futuristic looks. As for proportions, it measures 4,915mm in length, 1,480mm in height and 1,875mm in width. The ground clearance is gauged at 135mm and the cabin has been crafted on a 2,750mm long wheelbase. Additionally, it gets two hydrogen storage tanks including the main 117-litre main tank and the 24-litre secondary tank.
