Skoda Yeti has never been taken seriously despite excelling in other areas significantly because of its poor design. But Skoda perhaps has learned from their mistakes and made some changes like a new front grille, horizontal fog lamps, C shaped tail lights. Inside, the has all the features one can ask for. And luxurious specs like cruise control, tyre pressure monitor, ABS with EBD and much more. The engine is similar to CR-V but comes with manual transmission only varying only in power output and no. of gears. The 2WD spurs 108bhp power and 250Nm torque with 5 speed transmission whereas 4WD has more to wield with its 6speed transmission and offers 138bhp and 320Nm of power and torque respectively. Both these cars are 5 seater and only such to feature in this segment. CR-V on one hand feels sporty and large and on the other side Yeti is elegant and small.

Honda CR-V and Skoda Yeti both compete each other on many fronts. Honda CR-V is no doubt the bigger car having much room inside. It's seats are softer, the legroom at the back is better and its cabin is more insulated from external noise. The Yeti is powered by a 1968 CC diesel engine that generates maximum power of 138 Bhp @ 4200 RPM and maximum torque of 320 Nm @ 1750 RPM whereas the Honda CR-V is fitted with a 2354 CC Petrol mill that generates maximum power of 187 Bhp @ 7000 and maximum torque of 226 Nm @ 4400 RPM. The Yeti is clearly more punchy car than CR-V. Absence of diesel variant in CR-V may be a downside of it. The CR-V has great low speed ride than Skoda Yeti however both the Cars are overall good at ride and handling. Honda CR-V is much better value for money SUV than Skoda Yeti.
Honda CR-V is available in only petrol version while Skoda Yeti is in diesel. There are three petrol trims in which CR-V is available with a price range of Rs. 21.1 to Rs. 25.1 Lakh. Skoda Yeti is available in only 2 diesel options with a price range of Rs. 20.6 to Rs. 22.3 Lakh. Both the SUVs are powered by the same 2.0L engines that dish out a healthy power and torque output. In terms of design, Yeti seems to have better impact on the eyes when you come across it.
