The 2007 model of the Honda CR-V was a facelift but not like it has received recently. The looks of the then car were indeed aggressive. The front single slat of chrome added elegance with sportiveness. Also the silhouette was bigger and sharp instead of curvy. Inside the features were all present but didn't had modern day technology. Engine is the one thing which has stayed as it is. The 2.0 ltr powerplant producing similar power and torque was as pleasing and thrilling as it is today. The true Honda fan could never ask for more. Although the price could be negotiated a little over the condition of the car and the aging and some other aspects. Overall it can be a decent deal to take on
The Honda is famous for producing some of the best in class long lasting engines, but still blindly trusting this factor and buying a second hand Honda product would be wrong. The first most important thing is the engine condition. Both of the 2.0L and the 2.4L engine option are powerful and comfortable to drive, thanks to the perfect automated transmission. However these mills require regular maintenance and can lead to several problems if not taken care properly. The second important thing is documentation, proper paper work should not be overlapped by anything.
