Honda HR-V Preview

Buoyed by the response of WR-V, the Japanese auto giant, Honda, is now planning to add another SUV to its line-up. It is expected that Honda will launch HR-V in India, either by the end of 2018 or sometime in 2019. The 5-seater SUV will be slotted above WR-V in Honda’s SUV range and will go squarely against Hyundai Creta in its space. That said, the Honda HR-V expected price will be above its smaller sibling, WR-V. While the SUV is sold under the Vezel nameplate in the native market, in India it is likely to be sold under the HR-V badge, in tandem with Honda’s nomenclature for its SUVs.

What do we think about Honda HR-V?

To be slotted above the WR-V in Honda India’s product range, the all-new HR-V is one of the eagerly awaited models not just from Honda, but in the compact SUV segment as well. The design and styling will be done in tandem with Honda’s new design tenet and expect the SUV to be packed along the same lines as rivals in the segment.
