Is the engine of Honda Jazz diesel noisy esepcially during long drives?

Yes, the engine of Jazz is slightly noisy because it is a diesel engine therefore it isn’t as silent as a petrol variant. The company has been trying their level best and have been able to reduce the engine noise by a huge margin over the past few years.
In my opinion, to reduce the engine noises in your Honda Jazz you need to get it serviced regularly and ensure that you drive mostly in top gear with the engine rpm not tipping over 1800. With this, your ride will get smoother and the engine will produce the least noise and you will be able to enjoy your long drives much better.
