Prasanta Hazarika (Guest)'s review on Honda Mobilio E Diesel
Year of Manufacture : 2014 | Driven no. of Kms. : 5400
- Pros: good mileage , Stylish
- Cons: Noisy engine, sound of clutch,
I have got some better experience in my new Honda mobilio. In low speed after shifting gear from 2 to 3 when clutch is released a sound like "TOK'' is clearly heard ( from gearbox/engine/Shaft ?). This sound is also heard when clutch is released in gear no.2 and 4; but it is nominal. The sound is quite unusual. I have 16 years of driving experience. During this long period I have driven lots of different vehicle like maruti 800, Alto, Verna, Scorpio Duster etc but I have never found this kind of sound in another vehicle. I had visited Spectrum Honda of Guwahati few weeks ago. They also admit the sound after test drive; and told me that the sound is normal. But interestingly they could not trace out the source of the sound or the location of the sound. Apart from this the mobilio diesel engine is quite noisy. Some extra sound is heard from the driving seat, as if some small bells are ringing inside the engine. If Honda mobilio want to survive in MUV segment, then they must eliminate the extra noise. Interestingly, Honda has no customer care e-mail ID. Because they are not interested to hear customer’s complain. Customer care phone number is not enough. I have written to Honda head office about the problem. But they did not feel any urge to respond to my letter. So don’t waste your money. There are many options in the car market.
