Honda Sports EV Concept Overview

In tandem with the government’s vision to embrace electric mobility, Honda India previewed its Honda Sports EV Concept at the Auto Expo 2018. Essentially a two-seater electric sportscar, the EV carries a retro styling and is based on the same platform which underpins the Urban EV Concept. Sporting futuristic design, the EV shares most of the styling cues with its sibling. That said, it gets round-shaped LED headlamps in front and square-like taillamps at the back. The long hood in front and the sloping roofline atop, instil coupe-like character in it. In fact, some of the elements on the EV seem to be taken from Honda’s longstanding S600 and S800 coupes. Raking in tremendous response at the biennial event, the model is in pre-production phase and Honda is yet to reveal details and plans deeming its production. It although, stunned the onlookers and experts alike at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018.
