Hyundai Creta 2018 Preview

One of the most popular cars that have taken the Indian market by a storm is Hyundai Creta. Owing to its looks, great design and excellent performance, this vehicle has been a hot-seller since the beginning and the same is expected out of the all-new Hyundai Creta 2018. The upcoming Hyundai Creta 2018 is expected to come in with enhanced looks and features. The facelift is expected to have a revised front end and there are changes expected in the engine options as well. HMIL’s all-new Creta is said to drive in after the Auto Expo India 2018.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Exterior

Hyundai Creta 2018 exteriors will see quite a lot of changes. The new Hyundai Creta 2018 is expected to have a new cascading front grille, newly-designed horizontal front fog lamps, restyled new bumper, etc. At the rear end, it is expected that there will be enhanced tail lamps and a revised rear bumper. Similarly, just like the rear profile will hardly see any change, even the side profile would be more or less similar to the outgoing model. However, we expect a new set of alloys.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Interior

Hyundai Creta 2018 interiors will have almost all advanced features that are expected from a pristine compact SUV. There will be a revised centre console with a new infotainment system, which is enhanced with a touchscreen interface. We will see Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in the upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift. Also, there is a hint that the new Hyundai Creta 2018 will have much better upholstery than its earlier variant.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Engine & Transmission

The new Hyundai Creta 2018 is expected to have the similar powered engine as the current model. The 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines are expected to churn out power values of bhp of 89 bhp and 126 bhp, respectively. The petrol engine is expected to be of 1.6 litres, delivering 121 bhp. The 2018 Hyundai Creta will offer mild-hybrid technology, though it might just be a rumour owing to the fact that there is a higher tax on mild hybrids and the subsidy has been withdrawn. However, no official statement regarding the specifications has been made or released by the Hyundai team as of now.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Mileage

The Hyundai Creta 2018 mileage for the petrol variant is expected be around 15.29 kmpl. The 1.4-litre diesel engine mileage should be 21.38 kmpl while the 1.6-litre diesel engine will be delivering 19.67 kmpl. These figures are same as what we see in the outgoing variants.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Braking and Safety

To no one’s surprise, Hyundai Creta 2018 will be fully loaded with all hte necessary braking and safety features, such as dual front and side airbags, ABS, EBD, brake and hill assist, ESP, traction control, etc.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Performance and Handling

The new Hyundai Creta 2018 will definitely be excellent in terms of its performance and handling; one expects nothing less from Hyundai in India.

What do we think about Hyundai Creta 2018?

Hyundai should be very confident about the vehicle owing to the new refurbished looks, features and styling. As for the performance, Creta has never disappointed. Now, it is the pricing of the car that will decide its fate here on.

Hyundai Creta 2018 Competitors

Hyundai Creta 2018 will compete with the likes of Mahindra XUV 500, Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Hexa, Renault Duster, Jeep Compass, etc. It seems that quite a lot of push behind the facelift has been because of the Jeep Compass’s wide list of features. Whether it is true or not, one thing is for sure that the consumers are in for some treats with the upcoming Hyundai Creta 2018.
