Augustine Justin's review on Hyundai Elantra 2.0 SX (O) MT
Year of Manufacture : 2017 | Driven no. of Kms. : 8356
- Pros: I was looking for a value for money sedan and found that in Elantra after having driven it for the last six months. The exterior looks of the car was dynamic and a head turner. The upholstery is really premium including the materials used in the dash board and door trims. The vehicle suspension is superior and glides through the moderate bumps with ease. I have done long drives in this car and fount it very exiting and did not feel tired even after 9 hour drive to the Nilgiris from Chennai. The music system and the quality of the sound system is amazing. The comfort in the rear seat is an added advantage for the owner. The hands free auto boot opener is unique.
- Cons: The horn noise that keeps honking every time your door remote is engaged is an irritant. There is no possibility to silence this. For a premium car the gear shifting (Manual) is not very smooth, especially the reverse gear. Some aspects like fuel lid opener, boot opener and bonnet opener could have been automated. The rubber used in the car is for sure attracting rodents and causing damage to the sensors. Hyundai should focus on this problem seriously.
The overall feel of the car is excellent and there is no regret for having invested in this car. This is a real value for money looking at the features, comforts and the style.
