How much petrol consumed per hour when only AC is running but car is not moving?

Hello Ashok Changotra !!

When in Neutral the clutch pack for the transmission is not engaged the torque converter does not have as much of a load on it because it is only trying to spin the gears in the transmission which are not engaged and have very low amounts of force against them, the fuel consumption in the neutral will be less than while running.

As per sources the estimated fuel consumption of an idle care which is powered by 1000cc engine is about is 0.6 litres/hr and if the AC is on this figures doubles to around 1.2 liters/hr. Hyundai Eon engine is available in two variants 814cc and 998cc displacement, so accordingly the fuel consumption while care is at idle and AC is on will be 1 ltr. to 1.2 ltr. respectively.

Thanks
