Out of the petrol and diesel versions of the Grand i10, the petrol is quicker as it can break the 100kmph mark in less than 15 seconds and can achieve a top speed of around 150kmph. The LPG version is a little slower and takes between 18 to 19 seconds to reach 100kmph while going till 140kmph. The diesel variant can clock a max speed of 145kmph when it reaches 100kmph in 18 seconds which is quite decent for it!
As the car comes in petrol, diesel and LPG engines, it garners different speed and acceleration figures. For petrol ones, the top speed reached is 150 Kmph and 15 seconds is the time it takes for the car to reach 100 Kmph. For diesel ones, 145 Kmph is the highest speed reached with 18 seconds being the time to touch 100 Kmph. For LPG, 19 seconds are required to breach the 100 Kmph mark and a top speed of 140 Kmph is hit by the car.
The petrol variant is perkier regarding pickup and speeding. It can accelerate from 0 to100 Kmph velocity in under 15 seconds. In the meantime, it can accomplish a top speed of 150 kmph. While the LPG adaptation takes around 18 to 19 seconds to break a 100 Kmph barrier and it can go up to a top velocity of 140 Kmph. Then again, its diesel variations can achieve a top rate of 145 Kmph. It can quicken towards 100 Kmph rate mark from a halt in more or less 18 seconds, which is great.
