Hello Ranjeet !!
With Hyundai i10 petrol version, expected mileage is 18.9kmpl and that in diesel version is 24kmpl. In actual usage anything around 16kmpl in petrol and 20kmpl in diesel versions is very reliable. It can be even higher when vehicle is driven on highways and city roads without much traffic hinderances.
Hyundai i10 is the budget car which is designed to run on the daily purpose which means this car is a fuel economical hatchback. The company claims theta engine under the hood of this hatchback can show fuel economy of range 18 kmpl to 24 kmpl but when you use this car for daily use you will find that Hyundai i10 shows fuel economy of 16 kmpl to 20 kmpl which is acceptable because in city you have to continuously apply brakes.
Hyundai is currently offering the I 10 in 1.1 Ltr. iRDE2 (Intelligent Responsive Drive Engine) engine. This produces 68 Bhp@ 5500 RPM and 99 Nm torque @ 4500 RPM. This is almost the same engine which used to power Santro (now discontinued). The ARAI certified mileage of I 10 is 19.81 Kmpl. However, in real driving conditions it can be expected to run 17 Km to a litre on highways and 13-14 Km to a litre in the city traffic. However, the actual on road mileage also depends upon your driving habits, climatic conditions and traffic patterns.
