Hyundai i30 N Overview

Hyundai’s i-series hatchbacks (Grand i10 and Elite i20) are quite popular in the domestic market. The Korean manufacturer sells the i30 in the international markets and is expected to bring the N-powered version of the hatchback to India in the future. The N-Power is the Hyundai's performance division of the Hyundai which is famous for making some of the outstanding rally cars. The i30 N gets performance tyres from the house of Pirelli for extra grip. Hyundai also offers Automatic rev-matching which blips the throttle for smooth downshifts. At the rear, there is a rear diffuser that enhances the aerodynamics while the dual exhausts and comes with three different settings which alter the sound of the exhaust. The Electro-mechanical Limited Slip Differential (e-LSD) ensures that the correct amount of torque is distributed among the wheels. The driver gets cruise control for fatigue-free highway driving, multi-function leather steering wheel, a multi-information display and much more. The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes with satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The dual-pane panoramic sunroof opens up the sense of airiness in the cabin which comes with leather upholstery. Braking duties are handled by ventilated discs in the front and at the rear. There is also a tyre pressure monitoring system which warns the driver when the tyre pressure is not at the correct level. Safety equipment includes multiple airbags, Anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist system, traction control and stability control.
Hyundai i30 N specs come with a max power output of 274 hp and a peak torque output of 353 Nm and 378 Nm in the Overboost mode. The engine is mated to a slick-shifting 6-speed manual transmission. Hyundai i30 N price in India is not yet known as the hot hatch is not yet launched in India.
