Nitin's review on Hyundai Tucson 2WD AT GL Petrol
Year of Manufacture : 2016 | Driven no. of Kms. : 2248
- Pros: The Hyundai Tucson is looks are its biggest strength. Adorning Hyundai is Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 Design language, the Tucson has a striking front fascia. As for features, it also gets a lot of equipments as far as comfort, convenience and safety is concerned. The space is also decent in the cabin.
- Cons: The Hyundai Tucson has noise problems in the cabin. The NVH levels are not upto the mark and one feels a lot of engine noise. In addition, the base variants didnot get much bells and whistles, despite being priced at Rs. 18 Lakhs, Ex. Showroom, which is a lot more than expected.
I had seen the Hyundai Tucson at the 2016 Auto Expo and the looks impressed me to an extent that I went for a test drive at company dealership. But, soon the excitement started to disappear as I began the drive. The diesel engine didnot seem much responsive and powerful. There was a lot of noise in the cabin due to improper insulation. I enquired for the 4X4 variant, which I was told, that would be launched at a later stage. So, basically, wasnot the most pleasant experience driving the Tucson.
