Hyundai Venue Exterior

The Hyundai Venue image of the test mule was heavily camouflaged and seems to retain just a few of the styling elements from the concept. That said, the spotted model sported a new front grille which is primarily a variation of Hyundai’s cascading grille. The grille is flanked by split headlamps, reminiscent of Hyundai Kona. The Hyundai venue features LED DRLs as well as a silver skid plate at the bottom.

Hyundai Venue Interior

As for the Hyundai Venue interiors and Hyundai Venue colour options, nothing much is known as yet. Measuring less than four meters in length, the cabin is likely to feature a five-seat configuration and will pack in a host of features in tandem with other models in the segment, hence expect it to get a touchscreen infotainment system, power windows on both side, multiple storage points among others.

Hyundai Venue Engine & Transmission

Hyundai Venue specifications are likely to comprise petrol as well as diesel engine options. The petrol variants in the line-up could derive power from the 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. This engine is used in the UK-spec i20 and offers power in two states of tune, as for the Indian market, Hyundai could use the 116 bhp version. Diesel variants in the line-up could get the 1.5-litre oil burner compliant with the BS-VI emission norms. In terms of power, it will offer 113 bhp with 250 Nm.

Hyundai Venue Mileage

The Hyundai Venuemileage for both petrol as well as diesel versions are expected to be impressive, considering other models in the segment deliver up to 18-20 km/l.

Hyundai Venue Braking and Safety

Braking duties on the Hyundai Venue could be offered by the front disc and rear drum units. On the safety front, expect it to get dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX child mounts as standard.

Hyundai Venue Performance and Handling

Since the specifications for the Hyundai Venue are not clear yet, it would be a bit too premature to comment on that. Though, Hyundai Venue reviews suggest it will be in line with the UK-spec i20 as Venue will share engines with the hatch.

What do we think about Hyundai Venue?

Hyundai will make its debut in the subcompact SUV space with its upcoming Venue and we expect it to be on par with the top-selling rivals in the segment.

Hyundai Venue Competitors

Upon its launch, the Hyundai Venue SUV will take up on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and Tata Nexon primarily.
