Both of these car, the Hyundai Fludic Verna are amazing cars. Both of them have their own pros and cons. But first of all the most common pro of owning a City over Verna is the brand image. Honda is famous for producing engines which can tolerate the Indian driving situations. On the other hand the Fludic design adapted by Hyundai in Verna is totally futuristic which will not go out of fashion in near future.

In terms of design, Hyundai has always come up with a new ideas and they have tried to do so with new Fluidic Verna 4S. However, the major changes has been done only on front and the back has been not altered significantly. However, both cars are comparable on exterior design front. Interior is also equally comfortable and spaceous. However, Verna has some unique features such as automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, cooled glovebox, six airbags, Ergo- Lever, but it misses the rear ac vents present in Honda City. Petrol engines of both the cars have almost similar power and torque figures. However, only verna diesel has the option of auto transmission. Both cars are good and one can not be declared better. It boils down to individual choice.

I fully agree with the above view. Both Cars have some plus and minuses. Honda are known for making best petrol engines, the diesel variants of Verna are surely more refined with higher power and torque figures. Verna has automatic headlamps, cooled glovebox, ergo-lever etc. which are missing in City. Similarly, CIty has sunroof option, rear ac vents and cruise control which Verna lacks even in top-end variant. So, both cars beat each other on some fronts and thus, it is individual's choice for picking one over the other.
