Hello HT Patel !!

Hyundai Verna features 1396cc engine delivering power of 107PS and Torque of 135Nm.ARAI Climed mileage 17.43 kmpl. Dimensional features include LxWxH as 4370x1700x1475mm, wheel base 2750, boot capacity 465L. Honda City feature 1497 cc engine delivering power of 119PS and Torque 145Nm, ARAI certified mileage 17.43kmpl. Dimensions LxWxH as 4440x1695x1495mm, wheel base 2670mm, boot space 510L. Clearly Honda City has advantage of higher power, better dimensions and boot space too. Both Hyundai Verna and Honda City look superb in styling. To select one, Honda City would be better.

When we compare the features of 1.4 litres VTVT petrol run Verna with 1.5 litres S MT petrol run Honda City, it makes an interesting comparison. In terms of engine performance, Honda City scores over Verna as City has a displacement of 1497cc against 1396cc for Verna, besides having better power and torque values (117.3bhp & 145Nm for City against 105.5bhp & 135.3Nm for Verna). In fact, City is able to clock a top speed and acceleration (0 to 100kmph) 195Kmph and 10 seconds in place of Verna’s 171 Kmph and 10.5 seconds. Overall, Honda City seems to be better.

Even though both Honda City 1.5 S MT and 1.4 VTVT Hyundai Verna (both petrol) have almost similar mileage figures and stylish looks, both have certain features going for them. In terms of cabin features, Verna has a remote fuel opener, vanity mirror, rear cup holders, rear bottle holder, a CD player, and a clutch lock that are not found in the City, City on the other hand, has Bluetooth connectivity in its audio system, Chrome garnish, a rear window defogger, a height adjustable driver’s seat, a driving experience control Eco and a cigarette lighter that are absent in its counterpart.
