I would suggest you to go for the Hyundai Verna, the overall quality and fit and finish just seems a cut above the Ciaz.

The Hyundai Fluidic Verna and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz are two very good sedans available at very economical price and gives a very good deal on your money. Both of them are having similar specs and features, Verna is standing out in the comparison and gives a better deal than Ciaz but at the same time Verna is costlier than Ciaz as well. Verna offers better design, better power and better performance than the Ciaz.

I am agreeing with the Above answer, Maruti Ciaz is not better looking than the Verna but gives a better value of money than the Verna. The portfolios of both the models are awesome and they have a great range available, The Verna Diesel variant is powered by a 1582 cc engine with 128 PS power and 260 Nm torque which is way ahead than 1248 cc engine with 98 PS power and 200 Nm torque.

I do agree with that Verna is way ahead from Ciaz in price, engine, power or performance as well as design. That is design what driven me to consider the car, It has magnificent interior and exterior than Ciaz. Only thing I didn’t like about the Verna is the unavailability of the rear AC Vents what Ciaz got inside it. Otherwise it has better specs and great design coupled with unlimited kilometers Hyundai warranty.

I am not agreeing with the above answers in oppose of Maruti Ciaz, Let’s have a look on features of Ciaz, It has a great mileage figure of 19 in the city, 23 KMPL over the highways even ARAI certified mileage is 16 whereas the Verna sucks in this segment with an ARAI certified mileage of 19 KMPL which goes lot down in real life situations. Verna is costly than Ciaz almost 2 lacs and in the same price Ciaz is offering Rear AC vents as well.
