Hyundai Xcent Facelift Preview

Hyundai has always given splendid models to the car enthusiasts. The company is now all set to release its latest hatchback namely Hyundai Xcent Facelift. While its name is a facelift, it is much more than just a facelift. Instead, it is an updated Hyundai variant. The car has got new features both inside and outside in the form of new front bumpers, reshaped headlamps, latest fog lamp housings, and new tail lamps.

Hyundai Xcent Facelift Exterior

The chrome grille at its front façade is its latest addition and is also the feature that differentiates it from its sibling – the Grand i10. Unlike the previous version which has small tail lamps, Xcent comes with proportional tail lamps. The makers have integrated 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels which add to the exterior visual appeal of the model.

Hyundai Xcent Facelift Interior

While the design of the latest Hyundai Xcent Facelift is expected to gain a considerable amount of appreciation, its interiors are also admirable. It has a new dual tone dashboard along with a 7-inch touch screen infotainment system. In addition to the entertainment features, the sedan has glove box cooling, automatic climate control, fabric upholstery, and steering mounted controls. Besides quality, the cabin is quite comfortable for both the front and back seaters.

Hyundai Xcent Facelift Engine & Transmission

Under the hood, you can find a 1.2-liter diesel engine and its power and torque output is similar to its sibling – Grand i10. It churns out 74 BHP of power and as soon as you cross 1800 RPM sign, 190 Nm of torque output is produced which further gives a boost to your ride.

Hyundai Xcent Facelift Mileage

It gives out 9 KMPL of mileage on city roads and 23.85 KMPL of mileage on highways.

Hyundai Xcent Facelift Braking and Safety

Coming to the safety gears, Hyundai Xcent Facelift has got dual front airbags. But unlike its former version, the makers have not added the ABS on its base trims. The steering doesn’t perform exceptionally well but is light enough to be used for city driving.

Hyundai Xcent Facelift Performance and Handling

Perhaps, performance and handling are the areas where Hyundai has been constantly trying to improve. But, it looks as if its soon-to-be-launched model Xcent would give you a fine ride along with an incredibly dealing capacity with the pits on the road. Its suspension system is neither too sleek nor too rigid, instead, it soaks in all sorts of undulation in the road. This helps the passengers to sit in firmly without bouncing all over the cabin.

What do we think about Hyundai Xcent Facelift?

The interiors of Hyundai Xcent can accommodate folks of all sizes and is quite comfortable as well but it isn’t too comfortable to travel a long distance. The sedan seems to be brand new yet its vital package is no different from its siblings. The touch screen infotainment system gives a modern touch to the car. What’s good is: It’s price has not seen a major change, making it an affordable model.
