what is the recommended tyre pressure for Hyundia Xcent cars
By: Ramanath M on 19 september 2014
Hello Ramanath M !!
Hyundai Xcent features tyres with size 165/65 R14 with optional steel/alloy wheels in base variants and 175/60 R15 alloy wheels in top variants. In all variants tubeless tyres are used. Tyre pressure for each tyre could be in the range of 33 to 38PSI. It can vary depending upon conditions of usage. When a hot climate road condition require lower tyre pressure(for allowance of expansion of air inside tyre), a cold climate may require normal and above normal tyre pressure. Also the tyre pressure plays significant role in wear and tear of tyres. A high pressure could lead to faster wearout at middle and a low pressure could lead to excessive wearout at ends.

Dual airbag is said to be available in the Hyundai Xcent S with airbag variant which is priced at Rs. 6.17lakhs. This variant isn’t available on the Hyundai official website. Is it an old model? Also, please clarify if it has a dual or single airbag and also if ABS with EBD is available in this variant? Do mention which other variant has all these features.
