Hello Abudlla !!

Unfortunately, until now Hyundai has not launched any variant for Xcent that comes with automatic transmission. Whatever variants are available till date are all manual versions. Therefore, if you have specific demand for a particular fuel type with automatic transmission then you have to settle for diesel based Hyundai Xcent variants like 1.1 CRDi Base, 1.1 CRDi S, 1.1 CRDi S Option and 1.1 CRDi SX Option, and the petrol variants are 1.2 Kappa Base, 1.2 Kappa S, 1.2 Kappa S Option, 1.2 Kappa SX, 1.2 Kappa SX Option and 1.2 Kappa AT SX Option. But if your needs are more focused about the specifications of the transmission system then let us tell you that all the petrol versions come with 5 speed gearbox and FWD drivetrain. Likewise, the transmission system of the diesel variants also features five speed gear box and FWD drivetrain.

The Hyundai Xcent s designed to give good performance and smooth ride. With a maximum speed of 156km/hr the Hyundai Xcent gives great acceleration and performance. However it has Manual transmission system which may be a point which people do not consider this model. However with the manual 5 Speed transmission it gives equally good performance. McPherson Strut is used for front suspension and Coupled Torsion Beam Axle for rear suspension.

Currently Hyundai does not have any model with an automatic transmission on Xcent. All the models either they are petrol versions or the diesel powered, are mated to a five speed manual transmission which drives the front wheels very smoothly. The overall efficiency and working of the gearbox is pretty slick and does not brings in the necessity of an automatic transmission. Thus the company also has no plans as of now to roll in an automatic transmission version.
