Sidharth Malhotra (Guest)'s review on Hyundai Xcent SX AT 1.2 (O)
Year of Manufacture : 2014 | Driven no. of Kms. : 5
- Pros: key-less entry, push button start, fully equipped music system ,automatic transmission and steering mounted controls.
- Cons: under powered engine, non impressing mileage figures, driving feels like driving a hachback.
I test drived the Hyundai Xcent and being a car lover I found this car a very good option for daily commuters. The front and side views reminds more of its hatch ancestor (Grand i10) while the rear is where all the difference comes in. Feature wise,Xcent has nothing which sets it above the crowd, and also is gives you a feel of driving a hatch. Best features inculde key-less entry along with push button start. In the top-end variant, the music system do comes with Bluetooth connectivity and steering mounted controls.Driving wise, the small petrol engine of 1197cc does well by developing a satisfying power output and the important thing is that you can feel the rush under throttle, just a little push from your feet. The diesel mill gives a bit of bitter experience. The 1.1-litre engine is slightly underpowered for a compact sedan, and I think it hardly developed power more than 70-75bhp. But its good that the petrol unit also comes with an option of automatic transmission. I would say its a nice car for daily commuters
