Isuzu Dmax V-Cross Overview

The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross 2018 gets changes to the exterior and interior. Available in two variants, Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Standard and Isuzu D-Max V-Cross High, the facelifted lifestyle pick-up truck packs in additional features. Mechanically, the premium pick-up remains unchanged, retaining the same unit from the pre-facelift version. Despite these changes, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross price remains almost same as the previous version. That said, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross price in India falls between Rs 14.27 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai).

Based on the same design language as the outgoing version, the 2018 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross gets an array of updates. The fog lamps in front have been replaced by LED DRLs and the new chrome bumper accentuates the premium styling. It now gets side steps, new tail-lamps, and a redesigned tailgate. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross color options include a new Obsidian red shade, while the Orchid Brown, Titanium Silver, Cosmic Black, Splash White and Obsidian Grey have been retained.

Changes to the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross Interiors include a new dual-tone color theme, black leather seats, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, two entertainment systems and a rear-view camera. Moreover, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross features the Auto Cruise Control for a comfortable drive experience. The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross images give a peek into the plusher cabin layered with additional features.

It additionally comes with a shift-on-the-fly system for the 4x4 transfer case.

Since there is no change on the mechanical front, the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross continues to deliver same mileage as its predecessor. That said, the premium pick-up returns 10.3km/l.

Safety features such as ABS and dual airbags are standard, whereas other equipment like ESP and traction control are specific to the top-end variant. Power to retard speed comes from the ventilated disc brakes at the front and rear is equipped with drum units.
