Now, this legendary SUV brand is all set to hit the Indian shore with their two civilized beasts – The Jeep Wrangler and Grand Cherokee.
In the Indian market, the Wrangler will compete with the Nissan X-Trail, Audi Q3, BMW X1 and Hyundai Sante Fe. This SUV will be made available at Rs.20 lakh to Rs.32 lakh, depending upon the variant. The Grand Cherokee will be an answer to the BMW X3, Audi Q5 and Land Rover Discovery 4. For Indian buyers, which will be priced around Rs.55 lakh. Both the vehicles will be unveiled at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in February. Initially, Jeep will bring the SUVs via CBU (Complete Built Unit) route from North America.
