I have heard that Jeep Compass is prone to accidents, is it true? How is the after sales service of Jeep in India?

It would be really bad to blame a car to be an accident prone, as generally 99% of accidents happen due to driver’s unawareness by novice drivers and driving under the influence of alcohol. So, no matter how a good car is, it is still prone to accidents if driven by a bad driver. After all, a car is a machine and it is controlled by the driver. When accidents happen, the driver is to be blamed, not the car. According to the insurance institute for highway safety, drivers ages 16-19 are three times more prone to accidents than drivers over 20.
Talking about Jeep Compass, it has an excellent ride which is very well-suited for Indian road conditions. It offers excellent handling and the body roll is also well controlled. The suspension is very nice sprung and perfect balance between ride quality and handling. High speed composure is great and the Compass has a confidence inspiring feel of solidity on the highway. All four wheels get disc brake and they perform well to stop the car in its stride, no locking up. As for the safety of occupants, the company has offered a plethora of premium safety features, like 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP (electronic stability program)seat belt warning, , Hill Hold Control, Traction Control etc.
