Lexus LC 500h Coupe Description
The Lexus LS 500h Luxury is the entry-level variant in the Lexus LS 500h carline, albeit, it comes loaded with a plethora of features. Introduced recently in India, the luxury hybrid sedan gets a V6, 3.5-litre petrol unit and two electric motors. Boastinglarge proportions, the LS 500h, where L stands for luxury, offers a generous leg room to the rear passengers. Brimming with features, the ultra-luxury hybrid sedan from the renowned carmaker is currently in its fifth generation and with the latest additions, it surpasses its predecessor.
Lexus LC 500h Coupe ExteriorVisually, the LS 500h is like any other Lexus, features the quintessential elements such as Lexus’ spindle front grille, sharp character lines that inject aggression and chunky tyres. Flanking the large grille are the LED headlamps, tapering up till the arches. The taillamps at the back, make a style statement, featuring LED elements, accentuating the premium look.

Lexus LC 500h Coupe Engine & TransmissionLexus LS 500h uses a potent 3.5-litre, V6 petrol engine, assisted by two electric motors, powered by 310.8kV lithium-ion battery. The V6 petrol engine and the two electric motors generate a collective power of 354bhp and top torque of 350Nm. It comes paired with a 10-speed eCVT that pushes power either to the rear-wheels or to all four wheels through Lexus’ latest E Four electric all-wheel drive system.
Lexus LC 500h Coupe MileageThe uber-luxury sedan featuring a hybrid set-up is claimed to return around 15.40km/l, which is good enough, considering mileage figures of rivals in the segment.
Lexus LC 500h Coupe Braking and SafetyBraking force comes from disc brakes at front and at rear axles. In terms of safety, it features as many as 14 airbags, ABS, Stability Control, Hill Assist Control, tyre pressure monitoring and heads-up display among several others.

Lexus LC 500h Coupe VerdictThe Lexus LS 500h Luxury variant is equally good as the higher variants in the model series. Features such as 360-degree bird eye view camera, two 11.6-inch rear seat entertainment systems and a 4-zone automatic climate control are standard. With so much on offer, the Lexus LS 500h Luxury variant is one of the best options in the ultra-luxury sedan segment, though it is a bit expensive.
