Bolero does not score much on the safety mark sheet but has more than enough to flaunt despite its back ground and usage. It comes with ABS and airbags in the top models only. But as standard option it has a pretty rigid body structure integrated with several crumple zones and impact protection beams which can minimise the damage in a collision. It has an encrypted key with a recognition system which prevents theft with a duplicate key. It also has rear wiper with washer.
Mahindra Bolero is a bit inferior in comparison to other cars in respect of its safety features. Thus, among the standard safety features that are available with Mahindra Bolero include Front and Rear Seat Belts, Child Safety Locks, Side Impact Beams, Front Impact Beams, Passenger Side Rear View Mirror, Engine Immobilizer, Centrally Mounted Fuel Tank, Power Door Locks, and disc and drum type front and rear brakes respectively. The car also comes with keyless entrance and 12V Charging options. However, the special edition of Mahindra Bolero comes with some additional safety features such as Seat Belt Warning and Door Ajar Warning.
