Does any other SUV comes at a cost of Bolero?

There are very less SUVs available in Indian market otherwise too, let alone in a price bracket that Mahindra Bolero offers. The main reason to build a low cost SUV is the localization of the products and only local companies can afford to do so. While Tata used to offer Sumo, it was a MUV. Maruti doesn't come in this segment. Rest all the SUVs are above Rs 15 lakh bracket. The nearest competitor to Bolero is infact Mahindra's Scorpio and next is Mahindra's XUV 500. Hence Mahindra dominates the market of low cost Sports utility vehicles.

Cars like Mahindra Bolero are very difficult to find because you have to cut down many features to provide powerful engine and good ground clearance. So according to my point of view if you are looking for an alternate to Mahindra Bolero then according to me it is almost impossible for you to find it because there are hardly few cars which comes this much features but still fit in low budget price tag. SO I recommended you to go for Mahindra Bolero rather than searching other cars.
At the price of bolero there are not many options as far as the SUVs are concerned, the only competitor is Tata Sumo which though has a bgger engine but is less reliable and has a noisy uncomfortable cabin and offers bumpy ride. The bolero makes up on that and thus has captured a large chunk of market. Also, the low end trims of Tavera are available at the price of mid level Boleros but then again, at lowe prices, Bolero is the only better option available.
