My new Baleno ZLX is about 5 months old but is already having many problems with ball joints while offroading.

You should take it to the service station and get a replacement / repair if has been damaged. If it has been damaged due to a jolt while off-roading, this may not be replaced under warranty but if it has been damaged while on-road, you may get a replacement for free. Talk to someone at the service center.
