I am using water as a coolent in my 2014 model Baleno but it is not offering good cooling, what should I do?

Though water can be used for cooling, but a recommended coolant would have been better as it won’t cause rusting and also has higher boiling point.
There may be many possible reasons of car not getting cooled, sometimes the rusty radiator blocks water/coolent or the thermostatic valve is not opening fully to allow all the water/coolent to go through the radiator. Also the hoses and radiator fan need to be checked. I advise you to not drive with AC on and keep constant check on temperature gauge, if it become too hot then stop and let it the car cool else it can cause a major issue. I advise you to take your car to your local Maruti Service center for proper solution.
