Mahindra Thar was launched just few years back and hence the number of it available in used car segment is very less. The onroad price of Thar DI 2WD is around 4.5Lakh and 4WD is around 5.5 Lakh. The CRDe version costs around 7.5Lakh onroad. There is huge difference in onroad price of DI version and CRDe versions. Considering the onroad price of new car, the resale value could be derived with depreciation rate of 10% per anum. This is theoritical calculation as per insurance norms. However the practical situation is completely different. The resale value dependds lot on demand for the model, its performance, reliability and utility for plenty of years and so on. With the performance, features and utility of Thar, you can always expect a very genuine resale value for the same.

Mahindra Thar is the one of the famous and reasonable Sports utility vehicle or SUV. Mahindra Thar is very much reliable as this SUV is designed to keep in running mode in every driving condition. According to my point of view the resale value depends on vehicle condition and brand certification and there should be no doubt that Mahindra certification is enough for anyone to relay. Mahindra Thar is blessed with heavy body panels which shows that the standing capacity of Mahindra Thar is very good and this factor results in ease of re selling Mahindra Thar where good vehicle condition helps you to get better money in return.

Mahindra Thar is a good off the road jeep that can take heavy punishment and allow you to tackle some of the toughest terrains in India without any problem. It has a good brand value and depending upon the condition and the number of kilometers it has covered, it can be sold for Rs.2 lakhs onwards. The CRDi variant on the other end will give you a better return.
