Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift Preview

Mahindra TUV300 Plus is basically a long-wheelbase version of the TUV300 so that it can accommodate 9-seater configuration. Mahindra has been working on the Facelift version of TUV300 Plus and it has been spotted many times being tested on roads. The exterior of the TUV300 Plus will be updated with a more rugged and aggressive front and bumper design. It seems that there is a trapezium-shaped air dam instead of the rectangular one on the current generation. The front will feature Mahindra’s signature 7-slat grille which will be new and will be flanked with a new set of headlamps with Daytime-Running Lamps. The side profile will come with roof-rails and a new set of alloy wheels. The rear may continue to get the same set of taillamps but the design of the rear may be more muscular when compared to the current generation of the TUV300 Plus. There are rumours that Mahindra will offer captain seats for the middle row seating and there will be an optional forward-facing third row for added comfort. The interiors will also be updated with premium materials and elements. Mahindra TUV300 Plus Facelift specs will come with BS-6 compliant engines as the SUV is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year. The current generation is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel 4-cylinder engine which produces a max power output of 120 bhp @4,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 280 Nm @1,800-2,800 rpm. This BS-4 diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
