Is Mahindra TUV300 a good SUV to buy, please advice with its good & bad aspects?

The front fascia of TUV300 looks quite descent, however, its design & styling gives a boxy feel. The overall dashboard layout looks neatly done. The plastic quality used is by far the best that I have ever seen in Mahindra cars. Cabin is pretty spacious and very well equipped. First and second row offers good space but third row is only good for short trips.
Powering the TUV300 is a 1.5 liter turbocharged diesel engine that makes 84 bhp of power and 350 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Power delivery is good and it has very good low-end and mid range punch. Though it lacks the top-end punch of competition. The claimed mileage of this SUV is 18.5 kmpl, you can expect around 13-14 kmpl in real world driving conditions. The engine feels refined and NVH levels are good. Steering is on the heavier side and requires effort at low speed. Braking performance is good. Base variant “T4” feels little expensive.
In my opinion, despite not so impressive design, TUV300 is a good value for money.
