Sharad Tater's review on Mahindra TUV300 T8 AMT
Year of Manufacture : 2015 | Driven no. of Kms. : 4800
- Pros: We got trapped in buying this due to AMT & 7 seating possibility.
- Cons: AMT is slow, jerky and leaves you behind even auto rikshaw waala. suspension is bouncy, too much body roll, no power if AC is on with 5 passengers. Heavy steering
I use the car 80% for office commute and 20% for highway drive. During peak time office traffic, even auto people give me dirty look while my AMT changes the gears and make huge revving noise before moving ahead, they are able to overtake me. Passengers feel the jerks while AMT is shifting the gears. If I switch on the AC and blower at 3 the power drops hugely. First row people freeze while middle and third row people complain of hot temperature. Body roll is seriously bad, you may get slip disk by too much wobbling and vertical movement of the vehicle when tackling bad roads, speed breakers etc.
