Hello Tarun !!
The Mahindra XUV 500 has the same 2.2 litre mHawk engine which the Scorpio has. The differences are in the designing and the styling of the SUV; this SUV has been completely designed very sporty and stylish. It comes with a 6 speed gearbox and also comes with a AT variant, this car runs very smoothly on the Indian roads, and the AT variant is very convenient driving in the traffic conditions. The short first and second gears make it quick off the line, while sixth gear allows you to cruise lazily all day long. Dues to the low kerb weight and clever engine tuning has made this SUV most fuel efficient vehicle in its class, this is the main reason people prefer this vehicle. The ride quality and breaking are very good in this car. It is very comfortable even in long rides.
Mahindra XUV500 is a big car and has a dimension of around 4585mm in length along with a width of 1890mm (excluding the ORVM caps). Its height stands at 1785mm and the wheelbase measures at 2700mm. this makes it difficult to take tight corners, but its speed sensitive power assisted steering system, which offers an exceptional response makes handling a lot easier. It features tilt adjustment function and ensures good maneuverability even when driving in peak traffic.
