My new Mahindra XUV500’s ignition key becomes hot during day time but in the morning and evening there is no such issue, what is your opinion on it?

In my opinion this might be normal, as the key is getting hot only when the car is being driven or parked in the sun, hence it is passing the heat to the ignition key.
