Rajani's review on Mahindra XUV500 W6
Year of Manufacture : 2012 | Driven no. of Kms. : NA
- Pros: Good Mileage and fuel tank capacity is also good .
- Cons: Not good for freshers. Experters can feel the flow of this car.
The XUV500 has good mileage despite the powerful a pair of 2Ltr mHawk diesel. Despite being loaded with 140 bhp power, XUV 500 is still frugal. Mahindra XUV 500 Mileage is 12kmpl in the town and 14 kmpl on the highways . ARAI certified mileage on the route is 15.1 kmpl . Fuel tank capability of this new Mahindra SUV is 70 litres. The 2.2-litre mHawk in its 140 bhp avatar may be a stonker of a performer. This is often the sole Mahindra to get 140 bhp power rating from all the mHawks employed in the SUV manufacturer’s stable. A 2179 cc mHawk diesel that currently powers Mahindra Scorpio powers the Mahindra XUV 500 as well. The CRDi engine is capable of producing 140 bhp of most power and a most torsion of 330 Nm . The 2.2 L engine is able to produce 140 Bhp at simply 3750 rate and it produces the torsion of 330 Nm at as low as 1600-2800 rate. This low rate makes Mahindra XUV 500 challenge any off-road and also the town traffic as well. It's a 6-speed manual transmission and there's no transmission choice offered on the XUV five hundred.
